Tankoa S693 – 69m Sold
Tankoa – the first Boutique Shipyard with a multi-cultural approach of yacht construction – has the pleasure to announce the sale of Tankoa S693 – 69m – last March 2014.
Tankoa S693 is a code name that identifies the 69,30m actually under construction at Tankoa Yachts facilities in Genova and sold in March 2014.
It is early 2014 that an agreement was signed between the shipyard and Yacht-Ology, Michel Karsenti’s company, a yachting consultancy company with offices in Dubai, Fort Lauderdale and Moscow, on the basis of a new challenge: carry on the marketing, product development and sales of Tankoa’s production.
Francesco Paszkowski, who designed Tankoa’s original first two projects, was asked to revise the lines in collaboration with Yacht-Ology with the mission to make it a timeless modern classic pleasure yacht just under the 70m mark.
Now sold and under construction, a full displacement yacht with a 1,300+ Gross Tonnage, S693 will be capable to sail at a maximum speed of 16,5 knots with a cruising speed of 15 knots and an economical long range speed of 12,5 knots with over 5.000nm range. Efficiency, reliability and practicability are words that best describe Tankoa S693’s core values.
Shortly after the redesign has been completed, Yacht-Ology presented the project to an Eastern European client who felt in love with the project and almost immediately signed the LOI. Soon after a visit at the shipyard and due diligence conducted by the owner’s representative/build surveyor, he decided to sign a building agreement teaming up Tankoa, Francesco Paszkowski and Yacht-Ology.
S693 is the first Tankoa born from a long lasting team of boat builders, a modern classic yacht with a high efficiency hull developed by renowned naval architect professor Ruggiero and a contemporary style by Francesco Paszkowski who is also responsible, in close collaboration with the owner’s family, for the interior design and decoration we could describe as “modern zen” style.
S693 will be officially delivered second half of July 2015 and will be available for charter starting in August. She will then be exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show 2015 and plans are being drawn-up to take her to Florida for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2015 and Art Basel.
