Restructured Condaria Distribution Network in France

DOM_Condaria_Air_Handler_mDometic Marine has restructured its distribution network in France to cope with increased demand for its Condaria brand products.

Milan-based marine air conditioning and heating specialist Condaria will now sell its equipment directly to four companies in the country, each with specific areas of responsibility to ensure the most efficient distribution of products, as well as extensive installation support and dedicated customer service.

The two distributors have been confirmed as Penguin Marine, in Antibes, and Le Cannet-based Coolmarine. Responsible for selling, distributing and servicing the Condaria products, the two French Riviera marine specialists are available to support customers with new installations for small to medium projects and for refit and retrofit projects.

Cofely Axima and Mar Engineering are confirmed as Condaria dealers, with specific remit to customise and install equipment for medium to big projects and offer research and development and design support.

Roberto Bonomi, Managing Director of Condaria, said: “We have seen a growing number of enquiries in France about Condaria products which has necessitated this creation of a more clearly-defined network to best serve our loyal customers as well as potential customers.

“In the same way as we review and improve our products as an equipment manufacturer, Condaria is continually assessing its ability to reach every market. We are confident that our four distributors and dealers in France excel in all areas of product knowledge, technical expertise and customer service capabilities, including warranty in the case of Penguin and Coolmarine, to meet all requirements in the region.”

Condaria has nearly 50 years of experience supplying both the new build and the repair and refit markets with complete, sea-worthy system solutions and has designed and supplied substantial, complex installations. It is capable of supplying systems on a turnkey basis, completed by accessories such as circulation pumps, pipes, insulation and air distribution devices.

In terms of technological differentiation from the other Dometic brands, Condaria’s large chilled water equipment uses stainless steel structural components as well as semi-hermetic compressors. This brand is associated with larger equipment, often for commercial markets.

Julien Lefeuvre, Head of Marine OEM – EMEA, Dometic, said: “We are very pleased to confirm this Condaria distributor restructure in France which is an important region for us.

“There is an exceptional level of customer loyalty for the Condaria brand in Italy, as there is with our other premium brands, Cruisair and Marine Air, in their specialist areas of the market in different regions across the world. However, the preference for Condaria extends throughout many areas of Europe for many of our customers and, in particular, the demand in France is growing for this brand.”

Condaria will continue to sell its equipment to original equipment manufacturers in France, in addition to the established distributors.

Dometic Marine is able to meet an extensive range of customer needs and target the widest market possible by offering different premium brands – Cruisair, Marine Air and Condaria, with each brand offering a significant level of heritage and history.

For installation support, after-sales service and maintenance and repair service, Condaria and Dometic have an unmatched network of company-owned offices located in twelve strategic regions across the world which are backed in the field by a network of authorised distributors, dealers and fully-trained service engineers in over 100 countries worldwide.
