Columbus Yachts Berlinetta series
Columbus Yachts and Too Design have further strengthened their collaboration with the release of a new range of yachts called the “Berlinetta”. Columbus, a brand of the well established Palumbo Group, say that the full displacement yachts ranging from 32m to 50m in length are perfectly suited to host the award winning Siemens Eco Prop system that has already been hugely successful on other models.
Marco Casali, owner of Too Design, says that he has developed a range of yachts with sleek lines and a strong character; these are yachts that offer great volume and comfort, real pocket super yachts built by a true super yacht builder. Full height opening windows in the saloon contribute to the feeling of space and volume on board each model, and a wide-body hull design has been used to further add to the space and the feeling of contact with the sea.
The Berlinetta is designed for long range cruising, coupled with the largest interior and exterior spaces in it’s category. Steps from the aft deck lead to the upper deck, over the top of the full beam saloon, and forward to a spacious elevated fore deck where generous sun pads and a plunge pool can be comfortably situated. A slimline top deck eases access to the bow, and gifts the vessel with a low profile, sporty appearance.
A large beach area in the transom can be used for tender storage or a beach club. Tenders can be stored in the bow in the case of the latter option. Both Too Design and Columbus Yachts are keen to point to their considerable experience in yacht and ship construction and invite owner’s to work with them in order to customise the vessel to meet their every requirement.
