Hydraulic Drive and Control System
Doedijns, member of DGI and specialist in engineered hydraulic and pneumatic solutions, has recently supplied the complete hydraulic system for a pile gripper frame to Bilfinger Marine & Offshore Systems. The system has been installed and commissioned and is currently being used to install a total of 72 wind turbine foundations for the Sandbank Offshore Windfarm in the German North Sea. This makes the total amount of installed foundations with the help of a Doedijns system close to 400 foundations. The scope of supply for Doedijns consisted of a containerised hydraulic power unit, control manifolds, complete e-control, piping and tubing, sensors, system flushing, cylinders, hydro motors, two 20-tonne winches and the complete commissioning and installation of the system.
