OOS International B.V. nominated for National Business Award 2015
Every year the best entrepreneurs from the Netherlands are closely followed and if the award criteria are fulfilled, they are nominated for the National Business Success Award (NBSA). OOS International B.V. has recently won the NBSA 2015 in the Offshore Services Branch and is currently in the run for the main prize, the National Business Success Award 2015.
The nomination report states: “OOS International B.V. present themselves as the specialist in a very specific sector, Offshore Services, which is a complex field of expertise. There are various options in the maritime and support services, where the semi-submersible heavy-lift vessels can be placed in the spotlight.” There are two units in the OOS fleet, the OOS Gretha and the OOS Prometheus, each of which is able to accommodate 500 crewmembers on site and whose cranes together can lift up 3,600 tonnes of weight.
These outstanding companies and paragons of entrepreneurship received the branch award and are now in the running for the main prize, the annual Success Award. This award comprehends a monetary prize, publicity exposure, and fame. Every year the selection of the winner is a difficult task, both for the jury and for the NBSA Institute. It takes strict award criteria and a careful judging process, under auspices of the notaries, to do the job.
The Success Award will be announced during a special festive Gala Evening of the NBSA Institute, which is semi-live and broadcast in the programme The Success Factor on Dutch TV channel RTL7. Apart from the main National Business Success Award, nineteen sub-awards prizes will be handed out, based on various themes such as innovation, best employer, fastest growing company, etc.
