Khalilah – latest Palmer Johnson arrives at IMS 700
Khalilah in many ways is an eye opener, from her complete carbon fiber hull and superstructure to her futuristic design. The latest yacht from Palmer Johnson has arrived at IMS for the winter.
The futuristic design of the hull created a challenge for the hauling out of the yacht that IMS accepted and met with success. In order to lift the yacht a special cradle has been designed for her 48 meter length. This cradle has been designed, manufactured and assembled (20 tons of steel) with the collaboration of the in-house team at IMS and TRANSMETAL Ind.
Last December 28, 2015 the latest of the Palmer Johnson was hauled out and placed on the yard at IMS 700. Various paint works have begun in addition to the regular maintenance works.
