Gudali Express Lanched
The seventh livestock carrier vessel built for Vroon was launched at COSCO Guangdong Shipyard, P.R. China. The Gudali Express features a length of 134.8m and a breadth of 19.6m and is the last livestock carrier to be built for Vroon at this shipyard.
Six newbuild livestock carriers have already been delivered to the company by COSCO, all of which are trading successfully.
These livestock carriers incorporate a revolutionary bow design that ensures maximum comfort for cargo and crew, while maintaining high speeds. Optimal pen arrangements guarantee smooth loading and discharging, while providing all livestock with easy access to water and fodder.
The innovative bow design will also assist in achieving fuel savings. The vessels boast a cargo capacity of approximately 4,600m2, with a cruising range of around 18,000 NM; sufficient for a voyage from Brazil to China and back without refuelling.
Gudali Express is scheduled for delivery to Vroon later this year.
