MarQuip Commissioned for Five New Superyacht Builds
MarQuip has been commissioned to add their expertise to a 77m motoryacht being built by a Shipyard in Ancona, Italy as well as two new projects for a leading Turkish shipyard involving two 35m+ yachts.
A leading expert in underwater exhaust outlets and water-cooled exhaust systems, MarQuip have also received two major commissions in the Netherlands. These Dutch-built superyachts – one of 54m and the other 72m – involve the complete engineering and delivery of the exhaust systems.
In addition to new builds, MarQuip is also active in the booming refit industry. This involves issues such as consultancy and system checks, including insulation and installation, in order to see what needs to be replaced on board. With the skills and experience needed to work in (fully equipped) engine rooms, MarQuip is able to quickly identify what components need replacing. In addition, the MarQuip service team provide optimal support to captains and crews, including after the refit has been completed.
MarQuip is currently involved in three major refit projects in the Philippines, Spain and Russia. All three involve replacing the complete exhaust systems for the main engines and diesel generators.
