Bijoux: The New Jewel in the Moonen Caribbean Crown

onen Shipyards has launched Bijoux, the first motoryacht in its new semi-custom Caribbean series. The owners of this 30m Matica model attended the christening ceremony and expressed how much they were looking forward to experiencing the style, comfort and relaxation of cruising on board this beautiful new superyacht.
Designed by Rene van der Velden, this raised pilothouse version of the new Caribbean series features stunning curved windows on the main and bridge decks, a finely recessed hull and a modern yet timeless aesthetic that showcases a bright new future in motoryacht elegance. Bijoux will now be outfitted and given extensive sea trials before her final delivery handover at the end of June.
“As launch customers for this model, the owners have had a significant influence on the design and layout of the first Matica,” says Project Manager Nicky van Zon. “Although they have visited the yard on a number of occasions during the build, they were delighted that the yacht looked even better in the water than they had imagined. The owners were also impressed by the views from the pilothouse and the second steering position on the flybridge. And it was wonderful to see the superb colour combination of a grey hull, white superstructure and black striping come into its own.”
