OOS International has proven itself to excellent offshore services once again. The Dutch company is acting as a floatel operator in Brazil combining high level offshore accommodation facilities and heavy lifting. On a quarterly basis Petrobas conducts a Contractor Evaluation and Performance Indicator (PMDF, evaluation Performance Bulletin) aiming to evaluate the procedures for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ), safety statistics for personnel (Total Recordable Frequency Rates), Daily Occurrences out of the RDO on board. It is very important that no accidents happen, dismisses are kept below 10, and the occurrences of system/equipment failure reduce to maximum of 20 items in a period of 90 days. For the period of 1 January 2016 to 12 April 2016 OOS received a high score of 94 for the ‘Prometheus’. This is a milestone regarding the PMDF results and makes OOS International the highest scoring operator in Brazilian waters for Petrobras.
