Royal IHC signs contract with Shanghai Salvage 550t reel lay system.
Royal IHC has signed a contract with Shanghai Salvage for the supply of an integrated 550t reel lay system. This is the first reel lay system on the Chinese market and is one of the largest and most advanced reel layout systems in the world.
The rigid and flexible pipe system will be installed on the new offshore construction vessel from Shanghai Salvage.
IHC Engineering Business, part of Royal IHC, leads this prestigious project. The British company, is responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing the project. That is why they work in close collaboration with sister companies and strategic partners in both Europe and China.
