Rendez-Vous in the Kara Sea
A friendly get-together of the PC-3 vessels AUDAX and PUGNAX in the Kara Sea off Nova Zembla. Audax and its sister vessel Pugnax both sailed from Zeebrugge, Belgium to the Yamal site in Sabetta to deliver some of the largest modules for the Yamal LNG project. Currently the temperature in Sabetta is around -15°C.
The Redbox vessels are the largest polar ice-breaking module carriers ever built. They can safely operate in temperatures as low as -50 °C.
