VDS Acquires NAMI Constructions
VDS, metal construction company for the on- and offshore industry, acquires NAMI Constructions located in Ridderkerk. From now on carrying the name NAMI-VDS Rotterdam. With the acquisition VDS is giving shape to its growth ambition in the area of Rotterdam. It will also strengthen and expand its scope of services. Thanks to NAMI’s expertise, the company is now able to supply jackets for the oil and gas industry. With the acquisition, VDS expects annual sales to increase by more than one third, from EUR 28 million to EUR 36 million.

VDS is also investigating the possibilities for expanding towards the offshore centre at Maasvlakte 2 in the Rotterdam port area. In 2016 VDS, in addition to its locations in Vlissingen and Eemshaven, opened its first location on Rotterdam soil.
