BOW Terminal Sets Focus on Eemshaven

BOW Terminal sets focus on EemshavenWith signing a letter of intent, the Vlissingen-based company BOW Terminal has shown interest and intention in expanding their future offshore wind activities with a new logistics hub in the Eemshaven, based in the northern part of Groningen, the Netherlands.

Both space and logistic opportunities are substantial for BOW Terminal, says Managing Director Ludolf Reijntjes: “In cooperation with Groningen Seaports, we have our focus on 27ha land space behind a 220m long deep-sea quay, with a depth of 16m NAP. These main specifications, combined with the local maritime and logistical knowledge in the field, will create a modern hub for the offshore wind business, as well as all relevant connected activities to the offshore windfarm industry. We will focus on the supply chain of these windfarms in the coming years.”
