No Big Data without a Reliable Interpreter!

We at Bachmann Electronic love challenges, especially in the field of automation. We develop and produce maritime-approved hardware and support our customers in realising their solutions. Every day, we enjoy learning more, together with our colleagues and our customers. All over the world, day and night, specialists are busy with energy, oil, gas, sand, our environment and the protection of our habitat. It is just fantastic that we can contribute our technology to the solutions our customers create. To see a vessel or a machine perform, when all the ideas come together in one integrated solution, is the reward which gives us new energy every day.

Shipowners, shipyards and suppliers benefit from our technology. We make the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) possible even for retrofit and after-market solutions. Improve your service through cost optimisation, make use of the information in engineering and operations and provide the most attractive product in your sales offer.

Visitors automatically stop at Bachmann Electronic’s Europort booth 1.015 as soon as they detect the keyword MARITIME 4.0.

Vessels are automated with more advanced systems than traditional installations. The number of installed sensors, for example from Hydac, Kral, Dr. E. Horn and IFM has doubled over the past years. In the same way, the amount of engine data, collectable via CAN J1939 or Modbus, has grown enormously. Today, these interface options are offered by suppliers such as MTU, Caterpillar, Wärtsilä, MAN and many more. All this data contains valuable information, which can be used to the benefit of shipowners, shipyards and suppliers.

To connect all these different sensors and collect all the data, we offer a maritime-approved, modular, programmable logic controller-based system with more than 160 different I/O interfaces and protocols.
