IHC Life Cycle Support for Guangzhou Dredging
Chinese dredging company CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Company (GDC) and IHC Technical Services (IHC TS), part of IHC Merwede, have signed a five-year cooperation agreement for a full service package, namely IHC Life Cycle Support (LCS), for its IHC 7025MP Cutter Suction Dredger fleet operating in China and abroad. This contract is the first of its kind ever signed in the dredging world. The IHC Merwede programme optimizes the maintenance plan resulting in minimization of the operational costs.
This full service package includes the development, implementation and continued optimization of a tailor-made Maintenance Programme for GDC, including the planning, job cards of specific maintenance tasks and advice on spare parts. Results of the periodic condition surveys, as well as condition monitoring inspections onboard during operations will be recorded in this customized Maintenance Programme. In addition, on-site support is available for all the operational locations. IHC TS guarantees the availability and pricing of spare parts on a pre-specified list for the duration of the agreement.
