Ship Simulator Professional v.2.0 and Instructor Station Evaluation Versions
VSTEP has announced that the evaluation versions of Ship Simulator Professional v2.0 and the Instructor Station are now available. Ship Simulator Professional is a new milestone for flexible, low cost maritime training and simulation. Using interactive 3D technology from the computer gaming industry, it offers maritime schools a high quality, professional training and simulation tool. The Instructor Station is a set of specialized training tools to fully adapt the simulator to the training needs of the student. To allow users a firsthand experience, the evaluation version offers 20 hours of full access to both Ship Simulator Professional and the Instructor Station.
The official worldwide release of these simulation tools will take place during the International Conference on Marine Simulation and Ship Manoeuvrability (MARSIM ’09), which will be held in Panama from August 17-20, 2009.
