Radio Holland Improves VSAT network


rhg_webRadio Holland has signed an agreement for the VSAT Ku-band footprint T11N. With this new footprint Radio Holland significantly improves its network for VSAT. The extension adds to the strategic priority of Radio Holland to provide seamless global coverage of maritime broadband communications.

With the addition of the Ku-band footprint, Radio Holland can provide seamless coverage at all major shipping routes around the world. With “Connector by Radio Holland” Radio Holland can offer customers a total connectivity solution; hardware, installation, service and airtime, which includes ‘always-on’ unlimited broadband internet access, low cost voice over IP (VoIP) calls, email, GSM on board and other value added services. Service and maintenance is done via the global network of more than 60 offices, located along strategic shipping routes.

In 2006 Radio Holland Group introduced the affordable always-on maritime VSAT connection for ship and yacht owners and branded this service Connector by Radio Holland. This service offers Radio Holland customers global coverage at a flat monthly fee. Radio Holland delivers a global footprint on C-band and a multi-regional footprint on Ku-band.
