Patented Anti-Pirate System
Scanjet Marine AB, a leading producer of fixed and portable tank cleaning equipment now introduces a patented anti-pirate water cannon system. The protection system is based on existing tank cleaning technology, powered by an integrated turbine, driven by the water flow. The system will remain running until the vessel is safe and the pumps are switched off.
Scanjet has used its water jet technology to develop a product that they expect will meet customer demands for protection The all new water cannon defence system makes boarding at sea virtually impossible and will protect the crew, vessel and cargo. All without a single shot being fired. By strategically placing the water cannons around the vessel, 100% coverage can be obtained. The system can often be powered by existing pumps so no extra equipment is needed. The system can be remotely and safely operated from any look out post around the vessel and can also work continuously in dark and night time conditions.
