Pon Power To Launch Insight.com on Europort 2009
Coming Tuesday 3 November Pon Power will launch its new service Pon Power Insight.com on Europort 009. Pon Power Insight.com is developed to – via the internet – gain access to a vessel’s Cat propulsion engines, generators and bow thruster installations, regardless of the vessel’s location.
Pon Power Insight.com is based on a tried and tested Pon Power tele-control system, which is broadly accepted and used within agriculture. Via an internet connection by means of a satellite or GPRS, the system is able to connect with the Cat propulsion engines, generators and bow thruster installations, regardless of the vessel’s whereabouts. Tailor-made for each type of engine, the system is now available for type 3508, 3512, 3516 and C32 electronic engines. The system offers a graphical representation of the system’s most important performance indicators, for instance to guard the cooling, oil and fuel system.
Pon Power Insight.com is available as part of a maintenance contract, in which – in whole or in part – the maintenance planning can be covered, based on the system’s. Furthermore there is the possibility of buying Pon Power Insight.com as a separate application in order for customers to monitor the installation – or installations – by themselves.
