Successful Jacket Load Out
ALE Heavylift has successfully performed the load-out of a 180m long jacket weighing 12,700 t at Maua Jurong Shipyard located at Río de Janeiro. For the load-out operation ALE has used 4 x 850t capacity strand hydraulic pulling units. The load-out average speed was 11 m/hrs, completing the operation in a total of 22 hrs. The barge used for the load-out was the S-600 owned by Saipem.
