Alewijnse Appoints Peter Bouman
Alewijnse Marine Systems announces that Peter Bouman has been appointed Product Manager Marine Electronics. With this appointment, Alewijnse continues developing its growing portfolio of strategic Marine Electronics products.
Starting 1 December Peter will be responsible for the development of Alewijnse Marine Systems’ growing portfolio of marine electronics products. The current Marine Electronics portfolio consists of the following product categories: vessel automation systems, dredging automation systems, entertainment & convenience systems, integrated bridge control systems and simulators for these four categories.
Peter will work closely together with the product engineering teams and the business managers. The goal is to further enhance Alewijnse Marine Systems’ capability to design, deliver and service innovative ‘state-of-the-art’ electro-technical solutions. In so doing, Alewijnse continues to support its customers who strive to operate their vessels in the most safe, economic and user-friendly manner.
In his 18-year career, Peter Bouman has gained a broad industrial experience in rail, manufacturing and process control systems. ‘”y passion for the maritime sector grew rapidly after I made a shipbuilding marketing and sales plan for a new business unit started up by a former employer. Apart from that, I love to spend my leisure time on the water, especially in the Dutch area of Zeeland.” His broad knowledge and experience coupled with his goal-oriented approach form a powerful base for Peter to successfully grow the Alewijnse Marine Electronics product portfolio.
