New Marco Polo Explorer
Marine Concept and Construction (MCC) introduces a new 38m explorer vessel, as part of its Marco Polo series. As the 45m that were introduced earlier, the 38m has an economic single screw propulsion with electrically driven Schottel jets. The Schottels normally act as bow and stern thrusters.
The original 45m Marco Polo was build to be economical in price and operation. This first MCC design of new in house designer Kasia Milewska was also developed to be a green vessel, with an 5300nm range at 11 knots for 80 lph. For the first time on an MCC yacht kebony wood decks are featured. Kebony offers teak performance and looks, yet is an environmentally sound, sustainable wood. The bulwarks are topped with composite rather than teak Handrails. The yacht has an MCC’s signature steel hull with composite superstructure. It comfortably accommodates 7 crew and captain, and 8 guests.
