Vibrant Curiosity Award Finalist
This Oceanco built 85.47m, build no. Y704, is nominated as a finalist for the World Superyacht Awards 2010, in the category Best displacement Motor Yacht of 1,300GT and above. During the Abu Dhabi Boat Show 2010, Oceanco also announced a new 117m yacht project in collaboration with Elie Saab.
The Vibrant Curiosity features an external and interior design by Nuvolari & Lenard, with naval architecture by Oceanco and Azure. The World Superyacht Awards Gala Evening takes place on 22 May in London. The yacht features a sea pollution monitoring system as well as many outstanding features such as an amid ship atrium, a folding passerelle at lower deck that integrates into the transom door, a folding sea terrace door located on the starboard side, a large owner’s suite featuring wrap-around terraces with a whirlpool and an outside breakfast and dining area, a semi-circular bedroom and lounge facing a panoramic wall of glass, as well as a private office and a spacious square bathroom. A full-beam salon complete with a bar and family theatre leads to a massive “beach club” deck area with a 7m swimming pool where three skylights are integrated into the pool floor adding a touch of light to the corridor on the lower deck.
A new 117m is the result of a collaboration with Weyves Couture and Elie Saab, the world-renowned Lebanese couturier. During the show Oceanco also showcased its range of 60m, 80m, 90m, 110m and 120m projects, including scale models with a hybrid propulsion system option for minimum fuel use.
