Lady B Ready For Rigging

Lady BMarch 2010 Lady B left Vitters Shipyard‘s building shed. The 44.7m sloop is designed by Dubois Naval Architects who gave her a slim profile with a single level superstructure. Vitters Shipyard says it installed: “high quality technical equipment and a wide range of innovations without compromising on premium standards of on board luxury”.

Lady B is constructed in aluminium and will carry a high aspect ratio rig with carbon mast and furling boom. She will be equipped with PBO standing rigging and a lifting keel system giving her a minimum depth of four meters and maximum of six.

Rhoades Young created an interior in which natural light and open spaces play a key role. The yacht features twin cockpits, allowing direct access to the upper salon through the main cockpit and private access from the aft cockpit to the owner’s area. The full beam owner’s stateroom aft comprises a split level cabin with lounging area and bathroom. The adjacent owner’s study can be converted into a third guest cabin by sliding walls. The two guest cabins can be used in twin or double configurations. Crew quarters are located further forward and feature a galley of commercial specifications, a crew mess and up to six berths.

After stepping of the mast and extensive seatrials she will leave for her maiden voyage.
