The Ultimate Sunreef
Sunreef Yachts will launch a new range of fast cruisers from 80 to 150 feet. The yacht builder has decided to explore into a new market niche and introduces a sophisticated design line of ultra-modern and performance sailing catamarans with green appliances, one of which is the Sunreef 80 Ultimate.
Sunreef’s in-house naval architects and exterior stylists have carefully studied all the feedback from the potential clientèle for such type of boat and have come up with a new, light, fast and boat. This Sunreef 80 Ultimate carbon yacht has thin and sleek marine hulls with reversed bow and integrated stepped hull chins which is essential for the yacht’s high performance. The superstructure will be shorter and more minimalist than on a conventional leisure catamaran which will add to the boat’s lightness and streamlined look. The sail plan is adequately calculated to reach the top speeds of more than 20 knots. As for the propulsion system, Sunreef’s engineering office is currently working on hybrid solution for this and other units.
Recently, Sunreef also celebrated the launch of an earlier new build. This Sunreef 102 Double Deck is undergoing finishing works at the moment, and will be delivered mid May.
