Rondal Rigging for Bugamena
Rondal has signed the contract to design and construct the spar and rigging for 120′ luxury yacht Bugamena, currently under construction at Royal Huisman. This classically lined vessel is designed for high performance global cruising, and simultaneously for competing in the top regattas and sail races.
Rondal will deliver a comprehensive package to ensure that the right balance is achieved between comfort and speed. Due for delivery in 2012, the company will manufacture and then install the following items for Bugamena: Main mast (hybrid carbon fibre), furling boom (highstrength carbon fibre), Nitronic N50 standing rigging, running rigging, blade & staysail furling systems, boomvang, mast jack and the backstay cylinders.
The constructor had already been commissioned to deliver reel winches and feeders, deck hatches and other deck equipment to this impressive project from the drawing board of Gerard Dijkstra and Partners.
