Southern Wind
Southern Wind proudly introduces its new SW 102 Deck Saloon. The project is the result of the experience gained by Southern Wind during the past 4 years, with the construction of 11 SW 100, 1 SW 110 and 1 SW 94, the latter close to its launching date. The project is signed by Nauta Design and Farr Yacht Design.
It will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show and Salone del Mare di Rapallo (Salone Nautico di Genova) boatshows. The project combines the successful lay-out already seen on the SW 100′ with the advantage of a more modern hull with a gain in the water line lenght of 1.35 mt. This LWL increase offers significant advantages while sailing. If compared to the SW 100, the interior volumes of the SW 102 have increased. This had its affect on the saloon and cabins but also the engine room, sail locker and lazzarette, the latter better accessible and with a greater storage capacity. These are significant improvements to make it especially suitable for an extended time at sea.
Recently Blues, the second SW 100 Raised Saloon was delivered to its owners.
