New MD Green Marine
Earlier this year Green Marine joined the Dutch based group of companies around Vitters Shipyard. Under the new ownership Green Marine believes to be well positioned to develop its market position in high end carbon yacht construction and grow its business unit for composite components. Marcel Müller has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Green Marine Limited.
Green Marine has been building carbon fibre racing yachts in Lymington UK, for over 28 years. In recent years, the company has applied its expertise to superyacht hulls of over 40m in length and to a wide variety of composite industrial and commercial components. Marcel Müller holds a degree in aeronautical engineering and started his career in the aeronautical industry before joining Marten Spars in New Zealand as their Operations Manager. Prior to joining Green Marine he was Managing Director of a German company, specialising in the manufacturing of mid to high volume composite component parts for the automotive industry. Green Marine starts into the new era with the introduction of a new logo and the launch of the new web site.
