Superyacht technology specialists, Advanced New Technologies Ltd. (ANT) have unveiled the new ‘MY ANT’ website. The focal point is the digitally mastered 80m ANT superyacht, which gives the user a walk-through of the specialist services provided. “Our goal was to have a website that would bring ANT’s offering to life in a form that would directly resonate with our customer base and owners,” comments Nigel Sherlock of ANT.
Created by Roel de Groot Design, on a hull by Ignacio Oliva-Velez, the bespoke yacht rendering showcases ANT’s technology-based entertainment, automation, IT, security, navigation and communications systems for the superyacht sector. “Roel de Groot had shown us previous yacht designs that were elegant and dynamic – providing the perfect creative stimulation for the foundation of our very own MY ANT superyacht. It’s just a shame that she only exists in digital form!” Mr Sherlock adds.
The flash-based website constructed by Fruit Studios of Southampton makes the most of the MY ANT centerpiece, integrating smart features such as ‘real-time lighting,’ which results in the website visually transitioning through dawn, midday, dusk and night time. From a functionality perspective, MY ANT navigates effortlessly across each of ANT’s specialist sectors (Bridge & Navigation, IT, Security Systems, Communication & Data, Research & Development and Entertainment Systems). Other useful features of the website include ANT brochure downloads and press and news centres.
