Schottel Signs Service Cooperation Agreement For North America


schottel_web2Schottel Inc. the US American subsidiary of the German manufacturer of propulsion systems, Schottel GmbH, has signed a service cooperation agreement with CS Controls Inc. (CSC). With this agreement, CSC is assigned to undertake repairs, upgrades and overhauls of Schottel thrusters in North America.  Christophe Mourot, COO of the Schottel Group claims:”This is one more step to enhanced customer service”.

Schottel Inc, based in St. Rose, Louisiana and CSC, headquartered in Houma, Louisiana with an office in Orange, California, are located in close proximity. This ensures optimum training in Schottel propulsion systems and highest standards with the exclusive use of original spare parts. After indepth training, CSC engineers and technicians will be included in the Schottel Inc. pool of engineers and may travel off-site on assignment.

CSC was formed in August 1987 and offers extensive experience in the design and manufacture of machinery for industrial, marine and military use. The Louisiana facility, located approx. 50 miles southwest of New Orleans, contains the engineering, manufacturing purchasing and quality control functions. Approximately 35 people are employed there.
