Atlas Services Group Expands Presence In Algeria
Atlas Services Group has expanded its Algerian HR services to the oil and gas industry. “Atlas Tristar has been providing manpower services to several clients such as Shell, Repsol, Baker Hughes and Gaz de France in Algeria for some years now. The new office in Algiers will enable us to service our clients even better than before with regards to local support on logistics, work permits and tax issues”, says Jochen Scholten, director of Atlas Services Group.
Algeria is a member state of OPEC. The hydrocarbons sector is the most important source of income for the country. The outlook is promising and could exceed 60 billion cubic meters of gas exported per annum, with a production of over 50 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons. “As Algeria is looking to grow its main industry, the decision to establish in Algiers will prove to be a key success factor for our expansion in this rapidly developing North African country” Mr. Scholten explains.
