“This is our first opportunity to showcase our services and products to the wider industry and we are confident it will provide extra impetus to our international growth strategy. We’re delighted to be ahead of our first-year expectations in terms of the breadth of our customer base. We believe that is down to a growing recognition of the quality of our products and services and the experience of our team.” States Managing Director Jim Thomson.

Wellbore Intervention – which began operations in January this year – is already established in the UK offshore sector and has provided services to clients in the Ukraine, Siberia, Germany, Africa and Colombia. It has also secured an eighteen month deal to provide engineering support for a Middle East coiled tubing drilling project. At this moment, Wellbore Intervention is making a significant investment in additional rental tool and equipment inventory, including the latest generation of mobile, lightweight hydraulic torque units for coiled tubing and slimhole pipe operations. The company is also progressing with several technology developments which it aims to introduce by the end of this year.
