Implementing the MLC
Staged just before the Superyacht Cup in Palma, The Future of Superyachts attracts an audience of superyacht builders, designers, managers, brokers, financiers, owners’ representatives, flag states, service providers, and other industry figures for two days of networking and debate. Following the conference in June 2011 there will be a separate one-day seminar about the Maritime Labour Convention.
The sixth Annual Conference (20 and 21 June 2011), and Implementing the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) (22 June) in the Nixe Palace Hotel, Palma de Mallorca, will give delegates an opportunity to find out how the MLC will affect all sectors of the yachting industry. In particular, Implementing the Maritime Labour Convention will focus on contracts, social security complaints procedures, record-keeping and seafarers employment.
