Barclays Jets and Superyachts
Following an internal reorganisation, the Barclays Corporate Jets & Superyachts (CJ&S) team now forms part of Barclays Wealth, having previously been run as part of the Barclays Corporate business. CJ&S will continue to support the high end of the private jets and superyacht market. Carlo Sammartano (left), Head of Credit Product, said: “There is a natural fit for the profile of our ultra high net worth clients.”
It will do so with structured finance facilities in the region of GBP 10m upwards available for the purchase of both new and pre-owned private aircraft and yachts. Together with assistance for new constructions across a range of international jurisdictions, subject to individual criteria. Commenting on the change, Carlo Sammartano, Head of Credit Product, said: “The transition of the CJ&S proposition to Barclays Wealth is extremely positive, and there is a natural fit for the profile of the ultra high net worth clients we are dealing with. The CJ&S proposition will join the suite of other products and services already offered by Barclays Wealth to existing and prospective clients globally, strengthening and supporting the Barclays Wealth brand.”
