Disappearing Doors

superyacht_transom_doorAlready installed as standard outfit on numerous prestigious yachts the transom doors, designed and made by Besenzoni, have the ability to transform the cockpit and the salon into a single and well-lit open space by disappearing into the floor when opened. While being closed, the doors allow for a subdivision of the spaces and a comfortable protection for the living area, without leaving out the pleasure of a ‘full-screen’ sea view.

The transparent glass doors are mounted on an elegant and modern frame made of polished or powder coated stainless steel and allow for a view outside while at the same time maintaining inside privacy. Being installed as sections that are independent one from another, the door sections move downwards and become compact until they completely vanish from sight into the floor. Instead of the doors there is now a wide open cockpit and saloon space to make good use of. The transom doors are available in a manual or hydraulic version, and both dimensions as well as the locking systems are customisable.
