Made in Italy
On the occasion of the 23th edition of the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show 2011, the Italian Trade Commission, in collaboration with UCINA, awarded Sanlorenzo with the Nautical Design Award. The shipyard was honoured for its efforts of promoting the Made-in-Italy brand in the US. Mr. Massimo Perotti, president of Sanlorenzo, received the award because he has developed foreign markets and in particular the American.
Sanlorenzo founded Sanlorenzo of the Americas, with three locations that all promote the Made-in-Italy brand. The Nautical Design Awards is instituted by ADI (Association for the Industrial Design) which has a leading role in the development of industrial design as a cultural and economic phenomenon.
