AIDAsol’s Ems Conveyance Now Underway
This morning AIDA Cruises‘s AIDAsol started its conveyance moving the ship down the winding River Ems on her way from her inland birthplace in Papenburg, Germany at the Meyer Werft to the city of Emden where she is due this evening at 21.00 hrs. The conveyance process is a unique manoeuvre for ships built at the Papenburg shipyard. The naming ceremony will take place in Kiel on 9 April 2011. Another newbuild for AIDA Cruises will follow in 2012.
