Cory Brothers Returning Home To Cardiff


cory_webCory Brothers Shipping Agency Ltd and Cory Logistics International freight and logistics experts have announced that after a break of more than 25 years Cory Brothers Shipping Agency Ltd and its sister company Cory Logistics will be returning to Cardiff, where the company was founded back in 1842. On Wednesday 9 March the company will re‐locate from Newport to Caspian Point, Pierhead Street, Cardiff Waterside.

In 1842 the shipbroking and coal exporting business of Richard Cory & Sons was established in Cardiff Docks by Richard Cory, to whom the origins of the present Cory Brothers are traced. His two eldest sons Richard and John joined the company and afterwards succeeded in the business as John and Richard Cory. Today Cory Brothers is owned by Braemar Shipping Services PLC and operates from 25 locations in the UK as well as having offices overseas.
Cory Brothers Director Mark Cooke, said: ”Wales has always been at the heart of our business and the opening of our showcase office in Cardiff further supports our continued commitment to the both the region and local business”.
