Jack up Drilling Rig Modules Installation
ALE has performed the installation of the 402te leg sections and the 575 te living quarter of the jack up drilling rig for Swecomex in Tuxpan, Mexico. Both maneuvers were carried out using the CC 8800-1 crane. The leg sections installation maneuver was performed with a configuration SFVL: 108m main boom, 12m fixed jib angled 15 degrees and 50m backmast. The load was raised 30m radius and with 440te counterweight.
To lift the living quarters the configuration was changed to 78m main boom and 50m backmast, working at 22m radius and with 440 t counterweight on the tray. The company will perform also the installation of the heliport and of the drilling rig, also by means of the ALE CC 8800-1 crane.
