Sea-Cargo Aberdeen Cargo Hub For Exports To Brazil
Cargo handling and marine operator, Sea-Cargo Aberdeen, has launched a Cargo Consolidation Hub for the export of oil & gas equipment and other freight destined for the growing Brazilian market. In conjunction with Rio de Janiero-based importation agent, Nicomex, Sea-Cargo is to provide the freight forwarding community with a local collection service in Aberdeen or elsewhere in the UK, with delivery to Brazil.
While the hub’s main focus is on oil-related exports, it will also serve other sectors, as well as imports. Gilberto Castro, director of Nicomex: “The Brazilian market is growing at a very high rate and we and our clients have been keen to see innovations in the arrangements between the UK and Brazil. Nicomex and Sea-Cargo are able to offer a one-stop shop to the freight forwarding industry, with benefits for all involved.”
