jo_filtration_webSojitz Corporation, one of the largest global trading conglomerates in the world (consisting 514 companies and USD 40 billion annual revenue), has entered into a co-operation agreement with leading Danish green technology and liquid filtration specialist Johnsen Oil, which will mean the wider availability of a unique new portfolio of state-of-the-art liquid filtration systems in Asia and the maritime industries.

As part of the co-operation, Sojitz Corporation’s maritime arm, Sojitz Marine, will introduce Johnsen Oil’s unique filtration systems to its network of partner companies, which include high profile engine manufacturers such as MAN Diesel & Turbo, Wärtsila, Rolls Royce, Caterpillar, Daihatsu, Yanmar, GE Jenbacker and MTU, and their respective licensees in the Asia region. These include major shipbuilding and heavy manufacturing corporations like Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Doosan Heavy Industries, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Samsung Heavy Industries, and more.

New Generation
Although the maritime sector is a key aspect of the new partnership, Sojitz Corporation will champion Johnsen Oil’s filtration solutions across a number of industrial sectors in Asia: “Johnsen Oil’s superior filtration products are useful within many different industries and we see a great future together,” commented a Sojitz Corporation spokesperson.
Johnsen Oil’s unique liquid filtration products are based on a new generation of environmentally focused filtration technology. The benefits of this technology have already been recognised in the rail and heavy industry sectors in Europe and Russia, with several large supply agreements and partnerships already secured by Johnsen Oil. The introduction of Johnsen Oil and its unique filtration solutions to major Asian markets and maritime organisations through Sojitz Marine creates one of the largest oil filtration co-operations in Asia.
Johnsen Oil’s high performance oil filtration products represent ‘a new standard within oil cleanliness’, through filtration and removal of bound, as well as free, water. Its unique products were recently chosen by major industrial entities including Industrial Machinery Group (IMG), Gazpromtrans and RAO Rosneftegazstroy (RNGS) to meet the growing demand for improved oil and hydraulic cleanliness.
