DAME for Marine Charities
Charities interested in winning the funds raised by product entries at the DAME Design Award METS 2011 can submit their applications until 20 April. “We urge marine related public charities to apply for the DAME proceeds and benefit not only from a valuable boost to their funds but share in the huge amount of publicity the DAME receives from marine media around the world,” says METS senior product manager, Irene Dros.
“It’s really a double win,” she adds. To date, the much coveted DAME prize has raised approximately EUR 18,000 for worthy causes each year. The DAME donation will be announced and presented at the Breakfast Briefing on the morning of 15 November, the official opening day of METS 2011, in front of exhibitors, press and VIP guests.
Charities can find the terms and conditions, and an application form at metstrade.com/METS 2011. All applications must be received by 20 April and will be assessed by the Exhibition Committee in May. METS & SYP 2011 will be held on 15-16-17 November 2011 in the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre, the Netherlands.
