johnInternational e-learning specialist for the global oil and gas industry, Atlas Interactive has been awarded accreditation from the Institute of IT Training for its learning and development credentials. IITT accreditation is recognised as the global official standard in the learning and development (L&D) industry today.  Atlas has been identified as leaders in L&D, demonstrating their commitment to the delivery of interactive e-learning courses to the oil and gas industry.
Atlas chief executive officer John Rowley said: “Gaining IITT accreditation is a testament to the success of our e-learning courses and our commitment to providing a fair and honest service to our clients, giving them the confidence that materials and learning environments are well designed, up to date, fit for purpose and appropriate to the level of learning, in compliance with the Institute’s Code of Practice. “With education’s increasing strategic importance, it’s crucial that organisations have access to the best possible learning and development skills available to enhance the learning experience and ensure the effective engagement of the learner. With this achievement we will continue to invest in advancing and developing our courses and services for the global learning community.”

Atlas Interactive’s electronic learning resources are used to train over 350,000 personnel per annum across 35 countries in up to twenty different languages, with particular focus on HSE and technical subjects that are relevant to the oil and gas and safety critical industries.
The IITT’s complete and rigorous assessment for accredited status is conducted by the Institutes expert practitioners annually to ensure standards remain at an ultimate high.

“Atlas Interactive’s vision is both comprehensive and realistic”, said Alan Bellinger, executive consultant at the IITT responsible for the accreditation, “and the enterprise is performance ready to deliver against its challenging goals. This is a period of substantial change in the way in which Learning Technologies can be applied to meet the knowledge and skills needs of Oil and Gas Enterprises around the world – and Atlas interactive is a thought leader within that domain.”
