Letter of Intent for MSV Regalia
Prosafe, one of the world’s leading owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation/service rigs, has been awarded a Letter of Intent (LOI) by Talisman Energy Norge AS for a 107 day contract using the MSV Regalia for accommodation support at the Yme facility in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. On site operations are planned to commence early November 2011. The total value of the contract for the firm period linked to the LOI is about USD 34 million. Prosafe is operates globally, has about 430 employees and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange with ticker code PRS. Prosafe posted an operating profit of USD 221.1 million in 2010.
