Triqua’s Seventh MBR Installation Transported
At the end of July the seventh MBR installation of Triqua, a Dutch supplier of sustainable cost reducing wastewater treatment solutions, had been transported to the Caspian Sea. The order was placed by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co Ltd. Triqua complied with the customer’s specifications on health, safety and environment. The application of Daewoo concerns the treatment of wastewater for a drilling rig accommodation capacity up to 100 persons.
The treated wastewater will be purified to drinking water quality. Subsequently, the purified water will be re-used partially for toilet flushing, washing machine and to produce concrete constructions. The installation is build containerised in three separate containers.
Triqua also realised wastewater solutions in the Caspian Sea for oil companies and contractors such as Agip-KCO, Deutag, Sunkar Parker Drilling, Emtunga, BP, McDermott, Aker Kvaerner, Wagenborg, Rosetti and Consafe.
