First Havyard Vessel Built In India
The SCI-Panna, the very first vessel of Havyard design constructed by the Indian shipyard Bharati, has been delivered to the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI). It is also the first vessel of a Havyard design that SCI has purchased. A further three vessels of Havyard 841-design to the same Indian shipowners are under construction and these will be delivered by March 2012. The vessel has a bollard pull of 80 t, is 64.8 m in length and has deck capacity of 400 sq. m. There is accommodation for a crew of 31.
