Fairmount Alpine Refloats Ikan Sepat
Fairmount Marine‘s Fairmount Alpine tug has successfully assisted in the refloating of the grounded Ikan Sepat. The salvage operation was directed by T&T Bisso Salvage. The Ikan Sepat is a 180m, 28,503DWT bulk carrier flying the Singapore flag, that was grounded in the approach of the port of Puerto Cortés, located at the Gulf of Honduras. In the early evening of 13 December Fairmount Alpine successfully refloated the Ikan Sepat. Fairmount Marine is part of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs Group.
