TWMA Focus On MENA Business Development


offshore_menaDanny Murray has been appointed TWMA‘s business development manager for the Middle East and North Africa – a newly created position. This move comes as TWMA announces its plans to set up a base in Dubai as part of its continuing growth strategy. Mr Murray joins the team at TWMA with over 20 years experience and extensive knowledge of Middle East and North African markets. He has previously held senior positions with R&M Energy Systems and Varco.

Most recently Mr Murray served as regional manager with COR International in Dubai with responsibility over the MENA region. In his new role at TWMA he will manage and coordinate the implementation of the company’s growth strategy, driving the development of new business in these key markets.

Proactive
Mr Murray said: “TWMA has an established reputation for providing complete waste management solutions to a diverse range of clients around the globe. I am greatly looking forward to working with them and growing our business network. The company plans to create a permanent base in Dubai where we plan to expand our team with the recruitment of operational and engineering staff.  This will allow us to be proactive in increasing our foot print in the MENA Region.”

Offshore Processing
Murray continued: “The Middle East and North Africa are increasingly important locations for us with several offshore processing projects in the pipeline for 2012. The North Africa team has done a fantastic job there and the strategy is to replicate this success with the new Dubai base.”

Waste Management
