4th Deepwater Asia Congress

Due to its success for the past three years, event organizer SZ&W Group announced the 4th Deepwater Asia Congress (DAC) will be held this year from 14 -16 of May, on Bali Island, in Indonesia. At present, offshore oil accounts for about 33 percent of the world’s total output and the number will reach 35 percent within ten years. Deepwater oil grew rapidly from 3 percent in 2002 to 6 percent in 2007 and will increase to 10 percent in 2012. According to SZ&W, forecasts reveal after 2015, deepwater oil will become the world’s only oil output growth. The theme of this year’s DAC convention is “Achieving Asia Pacific Deepwater Industry Prosperous Development”. The 4th DAC will present the latest information from the offshore markets in Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand and etc. It will also touch on exploration & production, drilling technology, service strategies, offshore equipment, as well as the subsea technology. The event and annual industrial grand banquet is expected to attract a large number of related companies, such as oil and gas operators, EPCs, vessel owners and operators, oil and gas technology as well as equipment and service providers

Attendance at the DAC has steadily grown since 2009, and this year is expected to be no different.
